Yogi Tea (Traditional)

Yogi Tea…
  • Enhances digestion
  • Detoxifies the body
  • Increases Circulation
  • Pumps up the immune system



  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 16 Cardamom pods (dried)
  • 12 whole Cloves
  • 24 Black Pepper corns
  • 4 slices of fresh Ginger
  • 1 T of Black Tea (such as English Breakfast, Indian Assam, or Chinese Keemun)
  • 2 C milk (skim, 1%, 2% or whole)



  1. Combine all ingredients except the Black Tea and place in a pot with 40 oz. of water
  2. Place on medium heat and bring to a boil
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes
  4. After 20 minutes add the Black Tea and blend in leaving the low heat ON
  5. Add the milk, stir gently, and watch carefully.  As soon as mixture just begins to show signs of boiling remove it from the heat
  6. Pour through a strainer to remove solids
  7. Serve, adding honey if desired, to taste
