Class Description:
Participants will explore the fundamentals of shelter design, environmental considerations, knot-tying, and material selection, with a strong emphasis on versatility and improvisation. The course includes practical instruction on multiple tarp configurations such as the A-frame, lean-to, plow point, flying diamond, and hybrid setups—each suited for different terrains, weather conditions, and survival scenarios.
Whether you’re preparing for an off-grid expedition or simply want to deepen your bushcraft skills, this class equips you with the knowledge and confidence to build effective shelters using just a tarp, cordage, and the natural landscape.
