Get ready for some good-natured fun!
This program is designed as an introduction for you and your child to become comfortable out in Nature. Engaging your child in the wonders that exist in nature all around them is especially important in their early years and fostering their natural curiosity at a preschool age helps plant the seeds for a lifetime of discovery and learning.

Class Date: Saturday July 30, 2022
Time: 9 AM to 5 PM (lunch will be provided)
Where: Richfield Heritage Preserve – High Lea Pavilion
Perquisites: None (Advanced registration required)

– 1 Adult and 1 Child: $175
– Additional Adult: $50
– Additional Child: $75

The way we accomplish this is though small class sizes with
expert guidance to support your child’s learning every step of the way on their days’ activities and adventures.  We will be spending time outdoors developing a connection to our planet while building their awareness of the natural world around them.

Instructors
Amy Russo
Amy has been working with preschool children at one of NE Ohio’s finest preschools for 13 years.  In her spare time Amy loves planting, her family and enjoys the simply things in life lie being outside in Nature. Amy, her husband and children have made NE Ohio their home for their entire lives.

Tom Laskowski
Tom started Midwest Native Skills in 1997  and has been its head instructor for the past 25 years.  He is considered one of the leading survival instructors in the country and eager to share his experience and knowledge with a new generation of adventurers.  Tom’s wide range of experience and real world practical experience allows hime to take survival and self-reliance skills and simplify them into stories and simplyantdotes that younger children can grasp and remember.
