This Traditional “C” Shape Striker was the most typical shape found on the frontier in the 17 and 1800’s. These strikers are fully functional and will throw great sparks. This flint striker is made from high carbon steel in its traditional historic shape. The “C” shape shaping ensures that it is easy to hold and strike, making it effortless to use.
This “C” Flint Striker as well as our other strikers like it, were among the most commonly used methods of starting a fire from the Iron Age to forward, and even today, bushmen and enthusiasts still use it successfully, making it a pivotal part of any reenactors pack, campers kit, and much more.
