“C” Shaped Striker (Hand Forged)

Our authentic “hand forged” C shaped strikers are just that….each is individually hand-made by a blacksmith just like they were made 200+ years ago. They are forged out of  100% high carbon steel and formed in the shape of a “C” to fit nicely around your fingers, just like these strikers were made 200+ years ago.  If you want an authentic reproduction of a striker that the pioneers and mountainmen of the 17 and 1800’s used to start their fires…this is the striker you want.  Each one is a little different since they are not mass produced so your striker will be “one of a kind”.

These strikers produce good sparks with a good solid hit from a  sharp piece of flint and fit inside both our Standard and High intensity Flint & Steel Kits.
