Step 3. Slide washer onto tube
Melt the ends of the plastic tube
- Crimp this one end closed with pliers
Step 6. Drill holes in the flat crimped ends
- Slide washer on tube
- Place wax pellet into tube
- Heat and seal the other end of the tube
Step 10. Slide wire through end hole UNDER the washer and out the other hole
- Drill holes in the flat crimped ends (one on each side)
- Cut a 15″ length of stainless-steel wire3.
- Thread the wire through the holes on either end of the plastic tube
- With one end of the stainless-steel wire, thread it through the small compression sleeve, make a loop and thread it back through the sleeve to make a loop
- Crush the compression sleeve to secure the loop
- Run the stainless-steel wire through the hole on one end of the WAPI making SURE you THREAD IT UNDER THE WASHER so the wire will lay right next to the plastic tube
- Thread the wire through the other hole in the plastic tube and make another loop with the compression sleeve as you did before
Step 11. Making loop in wire before using crimp to secure the loop
- Bend a piece of wire to make an “S” hook for hanging the WAPI in the pot of water
