Summer Plant Class in the City @ the “Glass Bubble”

Come Join us at the “Glass Bubble Project” located at 2421 Bridge Ave, right next to the Westside Market in downtown Cleveland, Ohio for a summer Plant Class in the city. Learn what edible, medicinal plants and herbs are growing in the most unlikely spots of an urban environment!
Class Dates: Sunday August 4, 2019
Class Length: 1 day (10 AM to 4 PM)
Cost: $60 (or bring a friend….2 for $100)
Discount for 13 yrs old and under: $30
Location: 2421 Bridge Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 (right next to the Westside Market)
This Summer Class will encompass the summer plants that are in season as well and instruct you as to which are edible, which are medicinal and which are poisonous!. We will also cover topic such as making cordage(string or rope) out for weed stalks that are available this time of year as well as drying plants. We will also be making a First Aid Salve (that you will be taking home) out of the plants we harvest that can be applied to cuts and bruises.
Once your registered for the class a confirmation letter will be emailed to you with the specifics of the class as well as the directions
Your really do not need to bring anything to class except rainwear and footwear for rain (just in case) as well as a notebook and paper if you wish to take notes, which we recommend. A camera might also come in handy if you want to take some photos of the plants on our field walk.
