Appalachian Outfitters Seminar – Obtaining Food in the Wilderness

It is said nature has provided us with a buffet smorgasbord but it is hundreds of miles long and set “seasonally”.  In this workshop we will be covering a variety of ways to obtain food in the wilderness starting with wild edible plants that are growing under your feet and ending with various traps to get meat into your stew pot for your evening dinner.  Bring a knife since we will be carving a Figure 4 dead-fall trap during the workshop.
