Where to stay...

For classes will be held on the Western Reserve Farm & Tractor Museum property (Weekend Survival 1, Hide Tanning) you may camp out at the class location or stay at one of the other accommodation below.

For classes held at our home in Seven Hills (Homesteading, Plant, Bee Keeping and Fire Making Classes) you will need to arrange for lodging at one of the local hotel, motel or hostel (below).

Stanford Homestead is about 15 minutes from class and is located in beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the third most visited U.S. National Park. Situated between Cleveland and Akron, the park encompasses 33,000 acres along the Cuyahoga River. Though a short distance from urban attractions, the park is a woodland refuge. The winding Cuyahoga, an Indian name meaning “crooked river,” gives way to rolling floodplain, steep valley walls and ravines, and lush upland forests. The park offers hikers everything from rugged backcountry hiking trails to the nearby Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. The American Hiking Society rates the Towpath Trail as one of the “top ten family-friendly trails in the U.S.”
